The trek to Dayara Bugyal (elevation-3536 M/ 11600 ft) is a short, enjoyable, and relaxing journey, suitable for medically fit all age groups from 10 to 60 years. Far from the urban hustle and bustle, immerse yourself in the natural heritage, surrounded by rich flora and fauna. This trek offers the stunning view of Himalayan Alpine Meadow at Barnala Top (elevation-3000 M 9844 ft) and Dayara Bugyal, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas—truly the icing on the cake. The trek is open throughout the year except in monsoon.
In spring, the crimson and pink rhododendrons stand out against the lush green grasslands, while in winter, the Bugyal transforms into a snowy slope, perfect for skiing and other winter sports.
At the Dayara Bugyal Camping Site the scene is dominated by the majestic Bandarpunch Peaks (I-6316 M & II-6102, also known as white peak), which rises prominently into the sky, fully visible in all its grandeur. Nearby, the Kalanag Peak (6387 M, also known as Black peak) appears more elusive, with just its tip peeking above the horizon. Also the entire range of Garhwal Himalayas can be seen. Foreground with lush green meadows and clear blue sky with few scattered clouds, adding to the scene creating picturesque atmosphere.
Don’t just put yourself inside the tents, roam around to admire and behold beauty of surroundings and Himalayan panorama. If lucky enough may get lenticular cloud formation over the Garhwal Himalaya Mountain Range.
Some of the most prominent peaks of Garhwal Himalayas are visible during the trek and from Barnala Camping Site are SriKantha (6133 M), Draupadi Ka Danda, Gangotri 1 (6672 M), 2 (6590 M) & 3 (6577 M) & Jaonli (6632 M).
Day - 1: Haridwar to Barsu Via Uttrakashi – By Road.
» Leave Haridwar by 6.00 AM to reach Barsu by well before evening covering a distance of 241 Kms (approx.) in 10 plus hrs. Enjoy the drive all along the River Bhagirathi.
» Barsu is situated at an altitude of 2240 m/ 7349 ft ASL (Above Sea Level).
Day - 2: Barsu to Barnala Camping Site – Trek.
» Distance: 6-7 Kms (5 Plus hrs)
» Barnala Camping Site is situated at an altitude of 3000 m/ 9844 ft. ASL.

1. Enjoy the surroundings. Watch and behold the beauty of Himalayan Peaks all along the trek.
2. Some of the most prominent peaks of Gangotri Range visible from the Camping Site are SriKantha, Draupadi Ka Danda, Gangotri 1 & 2, Jaonli, Bhateria Ka Danda and Gangotri

Day - 3 : Barnala Camping Site to Dayara Bugyaal – Trek.
» Distance: 4-5 Kms (5 Plus hrs.)
» Dayara Bugyaal is situated at an altitude of 3536 m/ 11600 ft. ASL.

1. Enjoy the surroundings. Watch and behold the beauty of Himalayan Peaks from the camping site. Apart from the peaks which are visible from Barnala Camping Site now Bandarpunch and Kalanag Peaks are also visible.

Day - 4: Dayara Bugyaal to Barsu – Trek.
» Enjoy the descend carefully. Watch your knees (use knee caps) and toes (cut nails of your toes properly before start of the trek).
» Distance: 10-11 Kms (6 Plus hrs.)
Day - 5: Barsu to Haridwar – By Road.
» Leave Barsu by 6.00 AM to reach Haridwar by well before evening covering a distance of 241 Kms (approx.) in 10 plus hrs.

1. Keep the original and copy of ID proof handy.
2. Pick up will be from Haridwar Railway Station by 6.00 AM.
3. As we are reaching Haridwar by Late Evening. Make your further travel plans which suits you the best.
