Dodi Tal Trek

Dodital is High Altitude Lake which is aptly a hidden gem of Garhwal Himalayas. The verdant lake perched in the shadow of majestic mountains, proving a serene and quite ambience. The name DODITAL is derived from Himalayan Trout Fish which is locally known as DODI.

From Sangamchatti, the 22-kilometer trek becomes a moderate one if you add the Darwa Pass. The Panoramic view of Snow Clad Himalayan Mountains can be seen from Darwa Pass. The lake is surrounded by Deodar Trees. As per Hindu Mythology Lord Ganesha was born here. At one corner of the lake a temple is temple dedicated to Him.
