About Subhash Chandra Kandeyang (KANDY)
Subhash Chandra Kandeyang, affectionately known as KANDY among friends, is an Engineering Graduate from NIT Kurukshetra and has had a distinguished career with the Maharatna company Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
A passionate sportsman, nature enthusiast, adventure lover, and wildlife photographer, Kandy is an experienced trekker who has lived his passion for the great outdoors throughout his life.
His journey began with his first trek to Gangotri-Gomukh-Tapovan in 1988-89, sparking a deep love for the Himalayas that would fuel countless adventures in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions.
In quest for his adventure pursuits, he trekked with his institutional Himalayan Club and mentored hundreds of youngsters and colleagues, inspiring them to embrace adventure and transforming their lives through trekking and outdoor activities.
